Now here is a mellow cat. Phil loves being petted. He also seems to enjoy just lying there and looking around. Here's what happened when I gave him a string to play with:
Me: "Lookie Phil, it's a string!"
Phil: [Swats string, pinning it down]
Phil: "Yeah, now what?"
Phil: [Lays down and starts staring at something else, with the string still pinned down, mind you]
Me: "Wow, you're totally missing the point."
Phil might be a good choice for a household with small kids. He's about as non-threatening as they get. He's also in good shape, not too fat, not too thin, and with no major health problems.

I love the dialog in the description for this cat. Very nicely done. Looks like it would be a good cat for me, if I had the need of a cat.
