Dan Fogelberg Same Old Lang Syne

It's a terribly sad state of the popular consciousness that on the day after Dan Fogelberg dies, a huge number of people go online and make the misstep of searching for "Dan Fogerty," thus making it one of the top ten searches on the google-web. But let's just stop doing that, okay? You and you and you. And me. And anybody else who might be tempted.

Dan Fogelberg (August 13, 1951 – December 16, 2007) was one of the most successful singer-songwriters of the 1970s and 1980s, a time when he scored an impressive string of bestselling albums and chart-topping hits. His career encompasses more than that, though: Over 30 years, the angelic-voiced singer and skilled, nimble guitarist created music from the heart that covers far more ground than the pop hits for which he is known.
