Samantha is a petite little thing with eyes like sunshine. She was abandoned when her human family moved away and left her behind. A good samaritan in her apartment complex noticed Samantha was starving. The person was unable to bring her inside but kept food and water out for her and contacted HART. After HART was contacted Samantha disappeared for several days. She reappeared with a large bite wound on her shoulder. You can see the missing hair in the photo. The vet said it was a larger animal based upon the spacing of the teeth so I'm guessing it was a dog. She is recovering and hopefully will put on some weight while she heals.
