My daughter was just approved to adopt him; we pick him up on Saturday. (After a whole lot of "romancing" the rescue organization, apparently puppies are hard to get and it's very competitive)

Gorgeous. And rescued. And adopted. Originally the "adoptable pets" photo pool was for pets needing adoption only, but I have a feeling there is almost as much benefit to seeing pets that have been adopted as seeing pets that need to be adopted. Seeing gorgeous dogs and cats (and any other animals, frankly) and needing or wanting them is what it's about. Getting y'all out to do something. Getting me out to do something. It's that. All about that. So let's do. Do something. You and I. Shall we?

By the way, here's his momma, who desperately needs a good home.
