Would you please get a load of this house? It makes me wonder how many hobbits could comfortably live here. But seriously, it also looks sort of attractive, like a place a person and a family could live for a good long time. And play. My goodness. Can you imagine how much playing you could do?
You are looking at pictures of our family home in Wales. It was built by myself and my father in law with help from passers by and visiting friends. 4 months after starting we were moved in and cosy. I estimate 1000-1500 man hours and £3000 put in to this point. Not really so much in house buying terms (roughly £60/sq m excluding labour).

What think you? Could you live like this? For how long? Under what conditions? What would be the benefit? What would be the curse? What would cause me to even consider... I mean honestly... I have three kids and two dogs and a cat and no goats whatsoever. But you know what? So long as I don't have to mow the roof...
