We Are the Cat. We Really Are. And We're in Bellevue Tonight. Come See Us, Won't You?

Okay. So I'd better post something here about my reading in Bellevue tonight, and once I do I expect anyone and everyone within walking distance to come and see me read. Or listen to me read. Or curl up on a chair and fall asleep. I'll be reading (of course) from my new book (of course) WE ARE THE CAT: LIFE THROUGH THE EYES OF THE ROYAL FELINE. I'm supposing that you'll also want to know just exactly where I'm reading. Just telling you Bellevue isn't specific enough for you, is it... very picky, all of you. Can you not just drive up and ask someone where the very famous Terry Bain is reading tonight? No, you cannot. Because nobody will know. Except maybe my parents, and a few of the neighborhood cats that have heard the news through the grapevine. You can ask them, if you can find them. Okay okay. I'll get to the point. Dogs beg to go out for walks. Birds chirp, squawk and want crackers incessantly. The cat, though, is the only reader-friendly domesticated animal. You sit down to read, and the cat just wants to sit in your lap. That's why we love them so, and can't wait to learn more about what goes on in their little feline noggins with author Terry Bain's new book We Are the Cat.

So. What else? The event is free. You need not bring a bribe for me to sign your book (except you do have to buy one... they're a measley $16, for cryin' out loud, and they make fabulous gifts... they really really do... no really, I mean that). Come as you are. And I'll see you there.
