The Nothing... The Zero... or The Something

Way to go, Jess. I was just thinking about y'all, seeing as how I've been carrying your book around and not reading it for over two weeks now. Why do I do that to myself?
SR.com: Spokane author a finalist for National Book Award: Spokane author Jess Walter’s new novel, The Zero, was named one of five finalists for the National Book Award for fiction today.
Will there be a debate? Is The Zero a red book or a blue book? Does it come in a wheat-free version? Goodness, I've been reading it and it's damn good. A shoe in, I'd say. Mostly because I want to say “I know a National Book Award winner.” Then I'll start calling you my “friend.” “My friend, Jess Walter, the National Book Award winner for his novel... The Nothing, or Something... dammit, what was that book called... is he related to Barbara Walters by the way, because I've always wanted to be on that morning show she does with those other women... heck, I can't remember the name of that show either... ” I'm all in. Where do I place my bets?
