I'd never heard the word before, but I was reading a photographer's weblog (Kristina Barker) and she used it, so I had to go in search of the definition.

Chimping - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: Chimping is a term used in digital photography (especially when using a digital single-lens reflex camera or DSLR) to describe the habit of checking every photo on the on-camera display (LCD) immediately after capture.
Cool. I like that word and will have the opportunity to use it every time I take a picture of my children. “I want to see it. Can I see it? Lemme see the picture of me? Can I?” Yes you can.
