I Love My Swicki » Eleven Reasons
- It tells me what users to my site are looking for, as well as what users of sites I like are looking for.
- It lets me specify that people come to me for answers first, if I have the answers, then if I don't, it takes them elsewhere.
- It has an odd/cool name. I like to say it. “Swicki.” I say it whenever I get email from swicki. “Swicki.” You say it. You'll like it. I promise. And if you don't, I'll give you your money back.
- It allows users to compare results to Google. That's pretty openly saying, “hey, if you don't like these results, try these results.
- Swicki gives me an approximate value of my Swicki based on how many searches are performed every day. Right now the approximate value of my Bain Books swicki is $5,563. And the approximate value of my You Are a Dog swicki is $56,327. I know these values are somewhat bogus, and nobody is offering to actually pay me this much for them, but I like having this scale to judge the value by. Money talks, as they say, even when it's not real money.
- Because it's mine.
- It lets me block results from any site I choose. So if, for instance, I choose to block results from The Cesar Millan Center, I could do that. I'm not going to do that, but I could if I wanted.
- I can have as many swickis as I want, for whatever reason I want.
- It's free. I like free.
- I train my own swicki. So my swicki results are likely only as good as their trainer. Like a dog. Very cool. Maybe I should name my swickis differently. Call them Max and Sadie and Fred.
- I get to create cool buzz cloud. And it changes. And I don't have to think about it much. It just is. Just like that. No sweat. Lovely.
