How to Shoot Fireworks (or Photograph them, that Is)

I love to photograph fireworks, and there are any number of articles out there telling you how to do it, but I like this here at Photodoto because they boil it right down:

I've even done it be setting the camera on a ledge and pressing the shutter. Worked just fine. This year I might try my intervalometer, just for kicks. Of course, I don't know what we're doing for the fourth yet, so I might be just photographing sparklers and smoke bombs. We shall see.
