All the Coffee in China

Ack. Coffee “drinkers” in China. I can't stand it.

Turning China into a nation of coffee drinkers - Slashfood: The manager of a popular cafe, Ms. Linda Liu “observed that most of her customers do not seem to like coffee, but they keep buying it.”
You see, if they start drinking coffee in China... and they start drinking a lot of it... anything like half of what I drink here on a daily basis... well... there's gonna be a coffee shortage, and the price is gonna go up, and I'm going to have to curtail my usage, or see if I can get my HMO to foot the bill. I'm thinking they aren't going to do that. And I'm especially disturbed that they aren't even finishing their coffee. Don't they know there are people who haven't had coffee all morning (the equivalent of “starving,” as it were) in the U.S.? Thanks, Starbucks.
