The Wide Awakes

Spring Forward: The Annual Madness of Daylight Saving Time
Michael Downing

I don't know why, but I'm wide awake. It may be a function of having a sick child to tend to. Or a the nap I had today (yesterday already?). Or the time change. Or my canker sore. Or the ten thousand things on my mind. Make that ten thousand and one. Because now I'm looking at the clock at the foot of the bed, and it says 12:08, but the one here on my computer says 1:09. Thank goodness the computer knows, because otherwise it would likely stay an hour off until we shut daylight savings time down again. I'm listening to “Where The Colors Don't Go” by Sam Phillips from the album Cruel Intentions on badgeitunes61x15lite.gif .
