What's your longest bout of hiccups, and how did you finally get rid of them? When I finally stopped after 3 days, I sort of just lost them. They stopped coming. And yes, they kept me awake at night. My favorite method is the "drinking a glass of water from the opposite rim" trick, where you have to bend yourself all out of whack and tip the glass forward.
