The Dogs Who Found Me : What I've Learned from Pets Who Were Left Behind
Ken Foster

If you see The Dogs Who Found Me on your handy dandy bookshelf, count yourself lucky and buy a copy (or two) for yourself (and all your friends) because they are going to disappear and how. Why? Because the author, Ken Foster, is going to be on Fresh Air and in Newsweek, and his publisher doesn't seem able to keep copies in the warehouse:
ken foster: Talking with Terry Gross: Yesterday I taped an hour with Terry Gross for Fresh Air.... They say it will air in a week or two... Meanwhile, my publisher is out of stock again, and doesn't expect books to be in the warehouse until sometime after the Newsweek story runs and the Fresh Air interview airs. At which point they will no doubt be out of stock again. So if you see a copy, grab it.

All I Did Was Ask : Conversations with Writers, Actors, Musicians, and Artists
Terry Gross

So, also in Newsweek, but Terry Gross moves books, folks. When she runs the interview, I'll try to post a link to it (they're usually available online) because it's bound to be good. I don't think I need to mention that I'm tempering my jealousy (I'd give three toes on my left foot to be interviewed by Terry Gross) by over-promoting Ken Foster's book. But I read the thing in galleys, and it really is quite good, so it's probably not possible to over-promote it. Blessings. I'm listening to “Son's Gonna Rise” by Citizen Cope & Santana from the album The Clarence Greenwood Recordings on badgeitunes61x15lite.gif .
