I'm in shock. There's just too much bad news about dogs. One might want to make a mental note that though your dog is perfectly harmless, it remains a strong animal, capable of actions it does not understand are dangerous.

New York Daily News - City News - Dog pulling on scarf accidentally strangles L.I. girl: A 6-year-old Long Island girl with a “heart full of love” was tragically strangled by her beloved dog, who fatally tugged on a scarf knotted around her neck, police and friends said yesterday.

I'm too sick to think about it. I'm sorry if I made you sick too. Hug your kids. Hug your dog. Tell people you love them. Something like that. It might make you feel better.
