Senator Ted Kennedy's Dog Teaches Government

The Senator: My Years With Ted Kennedy
by Richard E. Burke, Marilyn Hoffer, William Hoffer

Well, thanks Mr. Kennedy for this important work of literature:
Sen. Ted Kennedy writes a kids' book: U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., has written a book aimed at helping children understand how government works.

My Senator And Me : A Dog's Eye View Of Washington, D.C.,” is illustrated by Cadldecott-winning artist David Small and will be published in May, Scholastic said in a news release Monday.
When you're finished there with that book, though, would you mind writing a book aimed at helping adults understand how government “works?” Feel free to include lots of pictures of your dog. Illustrations, even. And interesting asides regarding how helpful your dog is in making the difficult decisions of state. No satire intended. By the way, a “Dog's Eye View” of Washington D.C. would likely contain mostly pointers to the best places to scrounge/ beg/ steal food. Not unlike a Senator, I suppose. Satire intended.
