Blessings: BlogExplosion.com

Sometimes when I want to read something new, or find a new blog, I'll visit BlogExplosion.com and surf around for awhile. I sort of wish it wasn't called “BlogExplosion,” because that's just incredibly annoying... that is, I'm not really interested in “exploding my blog traffic.” What I want is to see what's in the air (or on the net) and to see who is out there and what they are doing. Certainly I want people to read my blog, and I want people to visit and say howdy, but “hits” are not what I'm after, and I have a feeling a lot of the folks on BlogExplosion (especially the business oriented ones) are there just to put their website in front of as many faces as possible in a very short amount of time. And it works for that too. Which makes in an interesting community. It has an interesting mix of folks, including some real gems and some real clunkers. I will not dare to share which I believe is which. But when there's someone there writing well, being specific, and not telling me which cute guy they want to date, that's usually at least worth a look. Blessings. PS: I know there are a whole lot of traffic “swapping” and “surfing” and “sharing” sites out there, but this one strikes me as one of the most community oriented. If I wrong in thinking this, please let me know. But don't try to spam my blog with overt adverts. Your spam will be ignored.
