Roy Kesey on Naguib Mahfouz / The Dreams

The Dreams
by Naguib Mahfouz

Roy Kesey has done up a guest review over at MoorishGirl, and let me tell you something... whenever Roy Kesey writes any darn thing, you ought to read it. Here's a quote from the review that tells you almost nothing except just that: to read, please do, the Roy Kesey review:
MoorishGirl:Guest Review: Roy Kesey: Stabbed in the neck! With a switchblade! On orders from a blind cleric! Because of the power of his fiction! Boy, some people have all the luck.

Now then, if I had any money in my bank, I'd go order that book. I spent some time reading Mahfouz in college. Or maybe I should say I spent some time struggling with (or actually fistfighting with) Mahfouz in college. Might be worth another go. I'm up for a good battle.
