The folks at LiteralSystems have begun releasing their creative commons audio version of Mark Twain's utterly impossibly fabulous American Literary classic The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. They're up to chapter 4 right now, and are releasing a new chapter every day, so get over there and give a giant listen.
The thing is read by Mark Devine. Which is a bit odd. I was hoping for a bit more of a Twainish voice... maybe someone with a bit more... I don't know... character. But it could have been a sure sight worse, so I oughtn't to complain.
Though maybe what I really want is for Samuel Clemmons to read the thing for me... He could sit in my living room and read and I'd feed him beer and pizza.
It's just a little dream before heading off to bed.
Have a decent weekend.
