Shirley MacLaine's Rat Terrier Terry's Book ∴ Out on a Leash

Out on a Leash: Exploring Reality and Love by Audioworks

Is it just me who finds it a bit odd that Shirley MacLaine's “dog” has “written” a “book” with her, and the dog's name is “Terry”?
Shirley MacLaine ‘wrote’ new book with her dog -- INQ7.net: And now, Shirley claims, she and Terry have “written” a book, “Out on a Leash.” This new book, in the words of Shirley, “is a view of the world through my eyes and the eyes of Terry, my faithful, unconditionally loving companion, who has taught me to view life with a different attitude.”

In the course of our interview with Shirley at the Regent Beverly Wilshire, we learn that Terry, in one of her previous lives, was an Egyptian who knew our colleague, today’s press con moderator, back in those days. Our Egyptian peer, it turned out, was a pharaoh.

You Are a Dog : Life Through the Eyes of Man's Best Friend by Terry Bain

I had nothing to do with this book (obviously). I haven't even read it. But I've seen it, and it never even crossed my mind to pick it up and read it... but now I'm curious. Do they have it at my library? Should I check it out? Has anybody read this book? Why did you pick it up? Did it keep you interested? Was it meaningful? Moving? Insightful? What?

I know Shirley's book will have nothing at all to do with You Are a Dog, but, well, you know, I bet Shirley MacLaine got a heck of a lot more money for her book than I got for mine. In wonder how well it sold...

...I need to stop thinking about this now. Anybody have something else for me to think about?

Blessings.
