They landed. In California. And a little bird says to me, "why don't they just make California their permanent landing place? Aren't there fewer weather issues in California?" I do not have a good anwer to this. Anybody know?

Are you watching NASA TV? I am. I'm riveted (sort of). I keep asking myself, "would I want to be on a space craft ready to return to earth through a fireball"?
The answer continues to be no.
Still, riveting. Somebody does actually want to do this.
32 minutes until possible return to earth... initial descent. Do you suppose the astronauts have to return their seat backs and tray tables to their upright positions?
Okay. A little nervous for them. Fingers crossed, etc.
