feedView the 49ers' Embarrassing Training Tape
The San Francisco Chronicle obtained a San Francisco 49er training tape. Oh, it's a fun tape. Very tellilng in its content. It's filled with the sort of poor taste you sort of expect in a high school locker room. Did we say this was a professional football organization? There's nothing particularly surprising or illegal in the tape, but the irony... oh, the blessed irony... this tape supposedly explains to players how to handle the media, and it's done in such poor taste that they had to know that if it ever leaked, it would bring a firestorm of attention on them... and then the whole thing is leaked to the media, and that makes it too darn irresistable. I get it that they're trying to make something that the players will actually pay attention to, but could they have done it without making a mockery of their own policies and supposed practices? I predict a blog flood (and maybe it's already happening).
