It's Purple! It's Terrifying! / v. SnarkSpot
I have almost this same reaction to you know who (no, not Voldemort) as Jennifer Weiner's daughter:SnarkSpot: "I caught a glimpse at what had her so terrified. Was it an ad for a monster truck rally? A commercial for a Disney flick? A teaser for the evening news with a shot of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes embracing? It was none of those things. It was Barney."He's not a purple dinosaur. There is no such thing. He's a purple monster. Maybe this is the reason congress wants to cut public broadcasting's funding by 25 percent. If so, it isn't worth it. I hate to say it, but if cutting Barney means cutting funds to PBS, then it ain't worth it. Keep the evil on the air. That's just the price we'll have to pay. (PS: I should think the book cover for Goodnight Nobody should be forthcoming on Amazon.com pretty soon, yes?)
