Google Cat at Bizoogle

Blogger has updated the interface for uploading photos to your blog (don't let the fancy talk fool you... you could do this before (if you used your own ftp space), but you uploaded a "file" instead of a "picture," and you didn't have as much control in the interface itself over how it would look on the blog). Now, though, you can upload to your blogspot page as well (I believe the limit is 300 mb, which is pretty good for free space). To celebrate, Biz Stone has posted photos of his cat, Bruce, on the Google blog and on the Blogger front page:
Google Blog: Just call him Bruce: "All Blogger users can now upload photos to their blogs. There's a button in the posting interface that looks like a little image, and when you click it, you can browse for an image on your computer or input the location of an image on the web. If you don't have cat photos to share on your blog, that's okay. We accept non-cat photos as well."
Of course what Biz fails to mention is how easy it is to post photos to flickr (a Yahoo! company), which hosts them for free, and then use the flickr interface to post them to your blogger (or any other) blog. Will Google buy buzznet.com? Does Biz have any remorse over Google not buying flickr? Will Google start it's own photo sharing service and call it Bizr? Biznet? Bizoogle? Stay tuned.
