I Love the Spokane River!

Do you love the Spokane River? Hey, me too. Rather than just talk about what we can do to restore it, maybe we could actually do something.

Spokane's waterfalls and the Spokane River are at the heart of Spokane and have enormous recreational, economic, ecologic, and cultural values. This campaign will complete the work started by Expo '74 by restoring summertime flows to the Spokane River; cleaning up the sewage effluent, PCBs, and heavy metals, and preparing the river for the return of the salmon. We recognize that the spirit of our community resides in the health of our River.
