All-Consuming Consumed by the Robot Co-op

For awhile I was using the handy all-consuming service to track what I was reading, to write reviews of what I was reading, and to bump around for new things to be reading. Then things at all-consuming seemed a little shakey. Their server, for instance, didn't seem able to handle the traffic. Then came the all-consuming rebirth, and it became a place for more than just books. And now it has furthered its quest to becoming a first-class tagging networking thingamajig by becoming a part of The Robot Co-op (the folks who make the wonderful-ish 43 Things).
The Robot Co-op: "In case you've never heard of this site before, it's basically a site that helps you keep track of what you're reading, listening to, watching, and (our new favorite media) eating."
I likely won't become a regular user of all-consuming (though I still think it's cool) for the same reason I'm not a regular user of 43 Things (though I still think it's cool): too many tools already. So long as I can link and tag my books via del.icio.us, I'll do that, and maybe fiddle with all-consuming and 43 Things when I have a free moment. I only mention it all because, as I've noted, I think these are cool tools. Not necessarily for me, but maybe for you. Technorati Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,
