There were no puppies in Leavenworth. The humane society in Wenatchee pulled out, or stopped calling the bookstore, or something, so we were left hight and dry. Now you would think that I would be enough to keep the tourists on their way to Starbucks entertained, but I must say that when a few dogs stopped by for a visit (brought in by local customers), the whole place brightened up, and I actually sold a few books. Thanks to A Book for All Seasons for hosting. I'll post more later to my axis page. It should be noted that this bookstore has internet access for vistors. How cool is that? I neglected to check my email while I was there, but I could have, if I wanted to.
