Losing Your Phone and Not Losing Your Friends
Worried about losing your data, therefore all your friends? Well, demand that your carrier make it easy for you to back up, and harder for the carrier to keep you hostage to your subscription. It's your phone, your phone book, your phone number, your bandwidth, and your modulation (that last one is tricky, but it's the word I want to use). Why am I posting about this? Because people shouldn't be thinking about their phones more than about their relationships, or be thinking about losing one because they lost the other. If she were smart, she'd start a movement to do exactly what I just said above. I guess we'll find out now if she is smart. If she ends up being angrier at the hackers than the phone company that made her data so very available (T-Mobile), then she's not using her head for much more than keeping her hair up.
